Hi Followers
Today our SLJ Task is to make a Kowhiawhia Koru pattern using google drawing. I made a simple one by getting a picture of a kowhaiwhai koru image and just rotating it.
My name is Zana and I am a blog commenter from the Summer Learning Journey.
I thought this activity was very interesting as it teaches you about Tānerore who you are able to see often on these hot summer days and about the infamous kowhaiwhai pattern seen throughout Māori culture. Could you share what you learnt about Tānerore?
I think your Kowhaiwhai Koru pattern is very nice and I like your use of rotation to extend the pattern. If you had to add colors to your pattern what colour would you add?

I also notice your image is too large and is overlapping the sidebar of your blog.
Follow these easy steps to edit and resize your image
Keep up the great work and I hope to see more of your posts over the summer.
Ngā mihi nui,
